2005 - Received an invitation to live and work in the Netherlands.
2004
2003 - Established Tonkinson Studios and set up my own studio in Cuyler Street, Port Elizabeth. Exhibits - Cuyler Street Gallery, Montage Gallery, Rick Bekker Gallery, Walmer Park, St. George’s Park and EPSAC (Eastern province society of Arts and Culture).
2002 - Joined partnership with Mr. Andre van Dijk. Coffee and tea restaurant in St. George’s. Exhibit - Sold entire collection of 14 pieces to the Baron of Fullwood. Lectured oil painting courses at EPSAC.
2001 - Established the Port Elizabeth School of Fine Art with business Partners, Mr. Barry Blyth and Mr. Grayham Ward. Appointed as Art Master of the teaching Studio with over 105 student artists. Exhibit - Blyth Gallery
2000 - Gathered 17 students and established a teaching Studio namely, Tonkinson Fine Art cc in Humewood, Port Elizabeth.
1999 - Relocated with my husband to Port Elizabeth, in the Eastern cape, South Africa. Set up Autumn Shades in First Avenue South End,
